With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Diana Ferrin Mortenson (Morgan, Utah), born in Evanston, Wyoming, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 28, 2025 at the age of 82. As Diana Ferrin departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Diana Ferrin. Though Diana Ferrin may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her brother Mick. She is survived by: her former husband James A. Mortenson; her children, Nick (Annette), Monty (Shani), Mark, Nannett and Jennifer Duncan (Clint); and her brother Don Ferrin. She is also survived by 26 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Walker Mortuary (45 W 200 N St, Morgan, UT 84050). A celebration of life was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Lyman Cemetery.
