He was predeceased by: his parents, Marshall McCann and Barbara McCracken (McManama). He is survived by: his wife Susan McCann (Kienlen); his children, Bobbi Elliott (Layton), Nathan McCann (Trena), Joseph Novak and Michelle Novak; and his sister Linda Gumpp (Kirk). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made in his honor to The American Diabetes Association.
