He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Theodore and Elsie Gines Frantz; his children, Diana Olson and Dan Frantz; his grandsons, Brad Frantz and Dallas Olson; his great grandchild Teresa Glenn Frantz; and his siblings, Mona Lemon, Wilma Vawdry, Rowene Van Tassall, Norman "Bud" Frantz and Reed Frantz.
He is survived by: his former wife Geraldine Murphy; and his children, Denise Fowkes (Grant), Dorene Elison (Kasey) and David Murphy. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren 32 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
