She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles DeLany and Hildred Nielsen DeLany; her significant other Dan Noble Cook; her daughter Dana; and her siblings, Bettie, Charles, Richard and Dennis.

She is survived by: her children, Curtis (Cheryl), Aaron, Julianna Cook of Diamond Bar, CA and Monroe. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
