She was predeceased by: her parents, Percy Burdell and Erma Shepard Newton; her siblings, Jerry Newton and Cola Jensen (Vern); and her sister-in-law Pat Newton.
She is survived by: her husband Bryce Scoffield; her children, Ken Whiting (Vicki), Kerry Whiting (Cecy), Korby Whiting (Maria) and Kandus Bell (Brian); her stepchildren, Tamra, Laura, Brett (BilliJo) and Tyler; her brother Gordon Newton; and her sister-in-law Marilyn. She is also survived by grandchildren, (13) great-grandchildren.
