He was predeceased by: his parents, Melesendro Lovato and Cidelia Vigil; his sister Olympia Martinez; and his granddaughter Tashia Marie Carling. He is survived by: his spouse Eralia M. Jaramillo (Erla); his daughters, Debbie (Joe Thurman) and Tami Lovato; his granddaughter Kailee Thurman; his brother-in-law Casey Jaramillo; his nephew Leanard Garcia; and his siblings, Alfred Lovato (Rose), Prescilla Lopez (Jesse), Mike Lovato (Rose), Robert Lovato (Colleen), Mary Madrid (Cruz) and Diana Lovato.
