She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Jim Carter and Stella Carter; her siblings, James and Shirley; her spouse Billie Nordin; and her children, Brent and Jama.

In lieu of flowers, Mickie would have preferred donations to Primary Children's Hospital.
