He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joseph Monniere and Addie Mae Monniere; his siblings, George, Norman, Madeline, Helen and Doris; his son Kenneth Paul Monniere; his grandson Brandon Andrew Smith; his wife Florence of Moab; and his children, Michael (Debra) of Idaho, Linda Monniere and Lana Trathan (Kirt) of Grand Junction, Colorado. He was also cherished by 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
