He was predeceased by: his parents, Douglas Byam Lamoreaux and Theresa Haws Lamoreaux; his son Calvin L. Lamoreaux; and his siblings, Donald Lamoreaux, Chester Lamoreaux and Wilna DeWitt.

He is survived by: his children, James V. Lamoreaux of Hurley, Edwin D. Lamoreaux of Hurley, Gaylene Whitworth (Seth Whitworth) of Muleshoe and Denise Knight (David Knight) of Fairfield. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, and 25 great grandchildren.
