With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ronald Jay Meik of Midway, Utah, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 15, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Armstrong and Emily Jones Meik; his brother Russell Meik; his daughter-in-law Sue Meik; and his granddaughter Heather Shober.
He is survived by: his wife Delores Robinson; his children, Steven, Dean (Jennifer) and Linda Shober (Bob); and his siblings, Joann Ren (Paul), Howard Meik (Darlene) and James Meik. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; with 1 great-great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Probst Family Funerals (79 E Main St, Midway, UT 84049). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Probst Family Funeral (79 E Main St, Midway, UT 84049). A burial was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 1:15 PM to 1:45 PM at the Midway City Cemetery (600 W 500 S, Midway, UT 84049). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Midway Stake Center (165 N Center St, Midway, UT 84049).
