He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Stewart Gardiner and Naoma "Na" Gardiner; his brother Dee Gardiner (Kim); his wife Mary Alice; his sons, David (Jamie), Michael (Danica), Mark (Whitney) and John (Hailee); his brother Rick (Rick); and his daughter Deborah (Debbie). He was also cherished by 15 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to an outdoor fund in honor of Don's deep love for nature and his adventurous spirit.
