She was predeceased by: her parents, Idona Simmons and Joseph William "Bill" Simmons; her son Dennis Charles Maxfield; her siblings, LaRue Kreek, Rhea Johnson, Maurine Kendall, Sheron "Bill" Simmons, Karl Simmons, Neil Simmons and Craig Simmons; her grandson Robert Keith Durtschi; and her great grandchild Ellie Mae Pullham.
She is survived by: her foster son Randall Dave; her husband Linden Charles Maxfield; her children, Gary Lynn Maxfield (Merilee), Bonnie Von Durtschi (Norman), Cindy Lou Richardson (Wayne) and Kathy Ann Maxwell (Kevin); and her sisters, Pauline Peterson, Sheral Taylor, Joyce Giles and Jolene Cox. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren.
