He was predeceased by: his parents, Edith Louise Dewyea and Harold Walter Dewyea; and his brother John Dewyea. He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, Mark Dewyea, Jennifer Stout (Paul), Alex Lott (Syd), Nathan Dewyea (Rachel), Natalie Williams (Nic) and Michelle Dewyea; and his sister Marcia Dewyea. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the High Point Ward (1223 E 7800 S, Midvale, UT 84047). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Larkin Sunset Lawn Cemetery (2350 E 1300 S, Salt Lake City, UT 84108).
