He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Eldon Beckstead and Betty Daraban; his son Adam Beckstead (Rodney); his sister Roxanna Naylor; and his close friend Michael Palmer.
He is survived by: his wife Kelly Tanner Beckstead; his mother-in-law Sandra Tanner; his grandson Ayden Yount; his nephew Courtney Beckstead; his niece Loralie Palmer; his daughter-in-law Virginia Williams; his close friend Mark Brown (Nan Brown); and his brother-in-law Mont Naylor. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
