Mason Christopher Iacono Obituary

Mason Christopher Iacono, 26, passed away unexpectedly at Mountain West Medical on August 5th, 2023 at 11:44pm. He was born on March 20th, 1997 in Lakeland, Florida to Eric Scott Iacono and Mindy Lucille Froysland Iacono.

Mason graduated from Hunter High School in 2015, and earned an associate's from SLCC in Engineering. He was also a proud Industrial Maintenance Mechanic at Frito Lay.

In addition to his parents, Mason was survived by his soon to be wife, Rae Erickson, his brothers, Lief Iacono, Christian Iacono, and Cross Iacono. He also had a dog that he loved very much, Hiro Eric Iacono, a cat he was much fond of, Salem Lee Iacono, and a ferret, Kronos Iacono.

Mason had a bright big smile, and took every chance he could to make someone laugh. He was caring and would offer up the shirt off his back to help anyone that needed it. He was intelligent beyond his years, and could do anything he set his mind to. He loved to play pranks on his brothers and friends, and was always the life of the party. His hobbies included playing basketball, football, and playing video games on his PC.

Mason's Celebration of Life is being held on Saturday, August 19th, 2023 at 3:00 pm. It will be at Premier Funeral Home in Midvale, Utah. Those who wish to remember Mason in a special way, may make gifts in his memory to Eric Iacono.
