Martha Van Alphen Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martha Van Alphen (Midvale, Utah), who passed away on April 5, 2025, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerrit Lakerveld and Johanna Hermes Lakerveld; her siblings, Emil, Johan Lakerveld and Gerda Beckstead; her significant other Catharinus Van Alphen (Cor); her daughter Corinne Cloward (Paul); her grandson Eric Larsen; and her great grandchildren, Dallas Orton and Kade Morris.
She is survived by: her children, Tineke Larsen (Brent), JoAnn Parrish (VerDon), Michael Van Alphen (Kayleen), Christa Ashton (Jon) and Rebecca Van Alphen. She is also survived by 31 grandchildren, 83 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.
Viewing will be held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Goff Mortuary (8090 S State St, Midvale, UT 84047). A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
