She was predeceased by: her parents, Ida Perez and Fidel Perez; and her sister Maria Ruiz (Myrna). She is survived by: her stepfather Glennon Cambron; her husband Mike Gonzales; her daughters, Marie Gallegos, Anita Merriman (Brett), Bernadette Duran (Eric), Sophia Romero (Gary) and Guadalupe Taylor (Kevin); her grandchildren, Elise, Eric, Alexandria, Katee, Joshua, Courtney, Eduardo, Ashli, Gabriella, Alec, Marina and Kianna; her great grandchildren, Diego, Anushka, Charlize, Trenton and Isabella; and her friends, Pine Street and Vince.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in her name to the Huntsman Cancer Institute at the University of Utah, The Alzheimer's Association of Utah, or St. Therese Catholic Church.
