He was predeceased by: his parents, Lavon Whitney and Lucile Steadman Whitney; and his siblings, Twila-Lee Whitney, Barbara Shurtz and Brent (Margaret).
He is survived by: his wife Shonnie Alexander; and his siblings-in-law, Maridene Alexander and Craig Alexander.
