He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis William Johnston and Ida Lewis Johnston; his wife Shirlee Lee Volk; his daughter Karma Janeen Johnston; and his sister JoAnn Schwesinger.
He is survived by: his children, Joa Largent (late David), Tyla Sadler (Jason), Shanna Lamph (Shaun) and Garth Johnston; and his siblings, Kent Johnston and Janeen DeMille.
Viewing was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM at the Jordan North 3rd Ward Building (4145 S 3920 W, West Valley City, UT 84120). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Valley View Memorial Park (4100 S & S 4400 W, West Valley City, UT 84120).
