It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Barfuss of Midvale, Utah, born in Paris, Idaho, who passed away on May 29, 2021, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandfather Joseph Andrew Barfuss; his father Andrew Barfuss; his son Larry Barfuss (Annette); his grandson Benjamin Barfuss; his great grandchild Jack Tidwell; his mother Louise Stocker Barfuss (Stocker); and his siblings, Thelma Jenson (Mylan), Helen Iverson (Kenneth), Victor (Mary), LaVaughn (Shirley), Raymond (Ruby) and Louis (Josephine).
He is survived by: his wife Sarah Olsen (Sally); and his children, Heidi Wasden (Carl), Julie Beck (Murray), Andy (Julie), Stacie Lythgoe (Kevin) and Jodie Curtis (Kitt). He is also survived by 33 grandchildren (the Wilfardos) and 62 great-grandchildren.
