He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilton Ira Mason and Esther Evelyn Brown; and his sister Bonnie. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Hurst; his children, Matthew (Bonnie), Amy Ethington (Kelly) of Herndon, Belinda Frost, Andrew (Laura) of Las Vegas, Laurie Kuenzli (Stefan) of Deitingen and Julie Brunner (Charles) of Manhattan; and his brothers, John Mason and James Mason. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, a donation in his memory may be made to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints humanitarian aid fund or the St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
