He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis Wilson and Mary Lee Wilson; his stepmother Adell Patterson Wilson; and his siblings, Ernest Wilson and Annie Ruth Wilson.

He is survived by: his wife Sawing Wilson (Sunee); his children, Saifon Bond (Ernest II) and Ernest Wilson; his siblings, Walter Wilson and Sherron Garrett (Larry); and his grandchildren, Ernest Theodore Bond III, Taylor Victoria Jean Bond, Quincy James Wilson, Amari James Wilson and Izaia Stephen Wilson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
