With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jack Richard Shields (Midvale, Utah), born in Murray, Utah, who passed away on January 23, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard W. Shields and Iona Goff Shields; and his sister Colleen Harper. He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, Val Shields, Gary Shields (Nicole), Jeff Shields (Shilo) and Connie Morgan (Russ); his stepchildren, Greg Maxfield (Marcelle), David Maxfield (Teri) and Debbie King (Rob); and his brothers-in-law, Greg Harper, Sherrill Schouten and Randy Schouten. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren with one on the way, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
