She was predeceased by: her former husband Kenneth F. Cooley; her son-in-law Bruce Tietjen; and her grandson Neil Jarman. She is survived by: her husband Harold Johnson; her stepchildren, Les Johnson (Doreen), Claudia Nygard (Barry), Randy Johnson (Shauna) and Mark Johnson (Karen); and her children, Gwen Jarman (David), Douglas Cooley (Marianne), Nolan Cooley (Gretchen), Cindy Tietjen (Bill) and Jill Tietjen. She is also survived by 25 grandchildren, 72 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
