He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellen Jane Champion Patience and George Leonard Patience of Midvale, Utah.; his siblings-in-law, Vandis "Van" Hathaway, Dennis Easton, Karen Easton and Roberta "Bobbi" Easton; and his stepson Stacy Hoblit.
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen; his daughters, Debra Bolkcom (Russ) and Georgia Seljaas (Aaron); his stepsons, Todd Wamboldt (Julia) and Troy Wamboldt (Michelle); his sister Corinne Hathaway; his brother-in-law Steve Easton; his grandchildren, Tyson, Kaden (Brook), Grady, Tanner, Chase, Hailey (Shayden), Amelia (Jason), Carson, Jackson, Katlyn, Colton, Alec and Ava; and his great grandchildren, Emi, Timmy, Elaine, Christian and Jaxon. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to thank The Huntsman Cancer Center doctors, nurses, and the Hospice nurses for their loving care, and ask that any memorial donations be made to the Huntsman Cancer Center in Salt Lake City in Ed's name.
