She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilson John Smith and Arvilla Clark Jones; her husband Earl Lane Crews; and her siblings, Elizabeth Anderson and Richard Wilson Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Dwight Earl Crews (Rhonda), Arvilla Crews Venneri and Joel Smith Crews (Cynthia). She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
