He was predeceased by: his son Edward Dana Vigil; his parents, Martin Vigil and Emma Vigil; and his sisters, Tomi Gallegos and Josie Hubert.
He is survived by: his siblings, Helen Smilanich and John Lloyd Vigil (Ranika); his children, Kristie Hilton (Doug), Jami Vigil, Mardie Johnson, Brooke Massey and Kevin Vigil; and his caregiver Holly. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
