Though Dolores may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Dolores touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Juanita Macias and Juan Juventino Jimenez; and her daughter Juanita Rivas (Fausto Rivas). She is survived by: her children, Fausto Rivas Jr. (Jackie), Ruben Rivas, Antonio Rivas (Tony), Suzanne Rivas-Valle (Gabriel) and Dolores Pahl (Michael); her daughter-in-law Alicia Stott; and her brother-in-law Ramon Rivas (Mari). She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 22 Great grandchildren, countless godchildren, aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Viewing was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Goff Mortuary (8090 S State St, Midvale, UT 84047). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. Thomas More Catholic Church (3015 E Crk Rd, Cottonwood Heights, UT 84121).
