He was predeceased by: his parents, Glena Blair and Johannes Lambertus MacKay; his brother Rock Oakeson; his daughter Patti Nicholes; his grandsons, Christopher and Tyler Nicholes; and his son-in-law Cole Dalton.
He is survived by: his wife Joy MacKay; his children, Wendy Dalton, Mike (Mary), Duane (Andrea), Heather (Gary Averett), Zak (Dulce) and Quinn (Fanny); and his brother Lynn (Shanna). He is also survived by 14 Grandkids, 10 greatgrandchildren and many loving cousins and friends.
