He was predeceased by: his wife Virginia Ross Austin; his parents, George Henry Austin and Nora Hardy Austin; and his brother George Henry Austin Jr.. He is survived by: his nieces, Laura Rhodes (Scott), Mary Cartensen (Dale) and Nora Avila (Albert); and his nephew George Austin (Dawn).
