He was predeceased by: his wife Ivaloo; his grandson Matthew Scott; and his siblings, Odie, Frona, Luetta, Wayne, Vira, Okey, Calvin and Dorothy.

He is survived by: his children, Jeff Hiibner (Nita) and Karen DeGasser (Bob); and his sisters-in-law, Connie Smith and Sheila Smith. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.
