He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Vest and Edra Vest; and his siblings-in-law, Clair Whitlock, Harvey Jensen, James Mac Bowcutt, Joseph H Bowcutt III, Linda Bowcutt and Kristie Bowcutt.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Bowcutt; his children, Lynne Vest, Cindy Howard (Brian), Billie Coates (Wesley), Toni Wardle, Kurt Vest (Donna) and Staci Vittetoe; his sisters, Betty Whitlock and Lola Jensen; and his sister-in-law Rowdy Bowcutt. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren.
