He was predeceased by: his brothers, Blaine and Raymon Hales; and his parents, Reid Hales and Zora Hales. He is survived by: his wife Lyona; and his children, Lisa Budge (Scott), Reid Hales (Julie), Michelle Dolinar (Bill), Marianne Hales and Betsy Rose (Garrett).
