We are sad to announce that on October 3, 2023, at the age of 84, Mary Lyona Hales (Mapleton, Utah) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Boyd; her parents, Rufus Reid and Wanda Steele Cox; her children, Lisa Budge (Scott), Reid Hales (Julie), Michelle Dolinar (Bill), Marianne Hales and Betsy Rose (Garrett); and her siblings, John Cox (Carolyn), Charlotte Petersen (Blaine) and Nellie Robertson (Nick). She was also cherished by Her 5 children, 17 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren.

In her later years she struggled with advancing Alzheimer's, but she was the consummate hostess so casual visitors might not have picked up on it at first.
