She was predeceased by: her parents, Christena Mitton Otte and Alfred Hans Otte; her husband Dean; her son Kirk Bruce; her siblings, Dona Mae Olesen, Alfred Ray Otte and JoAnn Marie Otte; and her son-in-law Charles Neal Walter.
She is survived by: her sister Christena "Teena" Riggs; and her daughters, Joyce Smith (Steve) and Janet Walter. She is also survived by five grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
