He was predeceased by: his parents, Matthias Wells Austin and Lovina Ruth Larkin Austin; his spouse Rea Alice Kropf; and his sisters, Agnes Austin and Veda Hill (Glen).
He is survived by: his children, Bryant Austin (Janae), Kenneth Austin (Denise), Melvina Austin, Lynette Austin and Karlene Austin; and his siblings, Melva Hill (Jack), Erma Anderson (Frank), Harriet Black (Art), Nola Alton (Ray) and Hyrum Austin (Marlene). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
