He was predeceased by: his children, Jimmy Lee, Laurie Ann and Gay Lynne. He is survived by: his wife Ruth O'Brien; his son Shawn; his grandson Bryce Hatfield (Kimberly); his great grandchildren, Emily and Michael; and his siblings, Doyle Hatfield (Linda), Fred Hatfield (Lindsay), Blake Hatfield (Verilyn), Lorraine Steffens (Ross), Marie Snelson and Sharon Vanleuven (Ross).
