It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elda Lee Brand of Mapleton, Utah, who passed away on January 9, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fern Elnore Fausett and Eldon Joseph Mayoh; and her husband Jack Brand. She is survived by: her children, Ken Brand (Cathy) of Mapleton and Kerri Burns; her grandchildren, Jessica, Michelle, Cortney, Amber, Joshua and Hunter; and her brother Russell Mayoh (Jerry).

Viewing was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mapleton 23rd Ward (1050 N 300 W, Mapleton, UT 84664). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Heber City Cemetery (700 N 550 E, Heber City, UT 84032).

“We are so sorry for your loss. Elda was an amazing lady. She was always so much fun to be with. When we would go for ice cream she was always happy. We would walk around the block after her knee surgery. Very kind and thoughtful, so easy to talk to. A wonderful cook! She would bring us the best cinnamon rolls! Always sharing. She gave us blue berry jam and ice cream for Christmas this year. My husband wanted her to market her jam. So good! We love her and will miss her so much! Jim and Marlene”
