We are sad to announce that on July 27, 2020, at the age of 80, Deon Richards of Mantua, Utah, born in Tridell, Utah passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Emil and Esther Alberta Ohman Merkley; her daughter Jill Richards; her brother Glade Merkley; and her granddaughters, Holly, Natalie Jeppsen and Stephanie Jeppsen Bennett.
She is survived by: her husband Samuel Lynn Richards; her children, Jolynn Croft (Alan) of Idaho Falls, ID, Jana Jeppsen (Gardner) of Mantua, UT, Gaylene Morrill (Kelly) of Brigham City, UT, Joan Stradling (Frank) of Provo, UT, Stewart Richards (Kacey) of Roseburg, OR, Michael Richards of Joseph, UT and Jerolee Cheney (Matthew) of Petersboro, UT; and her siblings, Errol Merkley (Janet), John Merkley (Judy), Beryl Trujillo, Gordon Merkley (Audrey), Clifford Merkley (JoAnn) and Delbert Merkley (Julie). She is also survived by 37 grandchildren and 64 great-grandchildren.
Due to COVID-19 the family encourages masks and to follow social distancing.
