She was predeceased by: her parents, Billy Dean and Martha Alice Nielson Duncan; her daughter Brittany Bown; and her brother Niel. She is survived by: her husband Roger Bown; her children, Emily Young (Mike), Jenny Bown and Christopher Bown; her grandchildren, Jax and Aubrey; and her siblings, Stanley Duncan (Lucy), Ruby Stull (Lenard), Jody Arnold (Paul) and Paula Smith (Mike).
