As Lowell departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Lowell. Though Lowell may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He is survived by: his wife Gayle Pitts Nilsson; and his children, Diane (William Sparks), Patricia (Steven LeSueur), Mike (Christine), Karen (James Griffin), Suzanne (Dan Bills), Nanette (Joe Garcia), Marilee (Todd Garbison) and Melody. He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Manti 8th Ward Chapel (295 S Main St, Manti, UT 84642). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM and at 2:30 PM.
