He is survived by: his wife Donna Smith Birk; his daughters, Rebeckah Buckley (Bob), Brenda Mackey (Dustin), Brooke Twitchell (Brady) and Bridgette Spenst (Devin); his sister-in-law Barbara Birk; his pet Annie; and his siblings, Beverly Louder (Ray), Joyce Wilson (Kay) and Gordon Birk. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, and 1 great-granddaughter.
