It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Barton of Manti, Utah, who passed away on January 24, 2021, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Louis Munk; her husband George Alder Barton; her parent Dagmar Mortensen Munk; her parents-in-law, Alden and Hazel Jessen Barton; her siblings, Clain Munk, Mavis Hansen, Robert Munk (Bob), Max Munk, Keith Munk, Barbara Lunt, Charlene Nelson Seeley, DeEtte Nelson and Donald Munk; and her parents-in-law, Joe Nelson (Charlene), Hal Seeley (Charlene), Mrytle Munk (Keith), Howard Hansen (Mavis), Morris, Ike Lunt (Barbara), Lee, Zella Rae Barton, Virginia Barton Sudweeks, Bruce Barton and Donald Barton.
She is survived by: her children, David (Susan Larson Barton), Paul (Teri Ross Barton), Lamar (Rolayne Jensen Barton), Joanne Barton (Bryan Elliott) and Clark (Lori); her sister Luella Jorgensen; and her parents-in-law, Nola Rae Munk (Donald), Roger Nelson (DeEtte Munk), Elaine Barton, Doug Allred, Barbara Jane Barton (Bruce), Barbara Sue Barton (Donald) and Keith Sudweeks (Virginia Barton). She is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
