It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Steve Matz of Magna, Utah, born in Denver, Colorado, who passed away on October 25, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Sydney Matz and Esther Matz (Ewing); his sister Charlene Holman (Matz); and his grandson Tyler Daugherty. He is survived by: his wife Karen Matz (Brems); his daughters, Samantha Madsen (Shawn McPherron), Toni Daugherty (Matz) and Patricia Underwood (Greg); his grandsons, Dawson, Brendon, Chandler Daugherty, Austin and Kaden Underwood; and his sister Cheri Hudgens (Matz).
In lieu of flowers or plants the family requests donations to a Parkinson's or Mesothelioma research foundation.
