He was predeceased by: his parents, Darrell James Kelson and Margaret Abiah Bird; his son Darin Kelson; and his siblings, Gary, Russell, Dean and Irene.
He is survived by: his wife Katherine Joyce Redmond; his children, Jill Roberts (Don), Gordon Kelson, Sondra Erickson (Ron), Jan Musselman (Robert) and Kathleen Kelson; and his sister Mardee Redmond. He is also survived by 16 loving grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren.
