With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Max Jay Coon Jr. of Magna, Utah, born in San Francisco, California, who passed away on November 4, 2023 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Max Jay Coon Sr. and Verna Naylor Coon (Cleverly); his stepfather Don Cleverly; his parents-in-law, Charles and Virginia Palmer; his brother-in-law Gary Callister; his sister Barbara Veylupek; and his nieces, Lori Palmer and Michelle Rose.
He is survived by: his cousin Max Jay Coon Jr.; his wife Pat; and his children, Max Jay III Coon (Sherrie), Jeff Coon (Jenimarie), Bruce Coon (Jason Scott) and Camille. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren, 4 siblings; 1 brother-in-law and 2 sisters-in-law; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
