He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Wesley Mangum and Ethel Mae Hawkins; his wife Marilyn Mumford (Mangum); his sister Mae Crane; and his children, Marilee Mangum (Roose), Thomas Mark Mangum, Mathew Earl Mangum and Michelle Mangum (Fischer). He was also cherished by 17 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and 2 great great-grandchildren.
