He is survived by: his wife Kathryn; his children, Craig Goates, Blair Goates (Debby), Garth Goates (Kim), Sandee Morrison (Rod) and Kent Goates (Tammie); and also, Margene (Sal), Bill (Cindy), Bonnie (John) and David (Debby). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.
