He is survived by: his spouse Karen Andreason; his sons, Richard DeSpain (Joan) and Robert DeSpain; his grandchildren, Zac Rider (Mindie), Maggie DeSpain, Kasie DeSpain (Bailey), Amy DeSpain and Kody DeSpain; his stepson Kipp Andreason; and his sister-in-law Gaye DeSpain.
