We are sad to announce that on October 19, 2023, at the age of 83, Ralph Edward Glatfelter (Logan, Utah), born in Wenatchee, Washington passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ralph Glatfelter and Mary Horey Glatfelter; his spouse Marilynne Tanberg; and his siblings, Sharon Carpenter of Spokane Valley, WA and Douglas Adkins of Redding, CA. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews; and many wonderful friends.
The Covid pandemic put an end to their travel but increased his interest in his yard and garden during the warm months and continued translation of Russian and Chinese at other times.
